Salty Mod is an interesting mod which brings salt to the world and is promised to change your Minecraft world by adding a dry salt lakes.

There are two wands capable of laying down a row of blocks: The Destructive Linear Conjuration wand and the Non-Desctructive Linear Conjuration wand. One will replace the blocks lying within the frames and the other will stop placing once the frame hits an already placed block. You can shift + scroll to change the number of blocks you want to place up to 64. You’ll also need to put the block you want to place right next to the wand in your inventory row before placing.

Minecraft Comes Alive (MCA) mod aims to give the original villagers an expanded use within the game.

The Instant Massive Structures mod is exactly as it sounds. You can craft a structure-placing block, put it on the ground, and a massive structure will instantly be generated in front of your eyes. All you need to do is craft the shape of your structure with related minecraft items.

The WoodStuff mod gives you a bit more customization when it comes to crafting wooden items. It gives you the ability to craft most wood items out of different types of wood found in the game. Normally that would create the same color item no matter what wood you used but now, with this mod, the item will retain the qualities of whatever wood you crafted it with.

This mod adds 3D guns to enjoy in your Minecraft world and/or server!. You can aim down the sights for an even cooler look and better aim. More to come in the future!

Myths and Monsters Mod adds a ton of new items and weapons and a very nice amount of mobs too based on monsters from mythology. Monsters include Giant Trees, Giant Mountain Trolls, Golden Sheep and many, many more!

This is a mod that allows you to hatch previously useless dragon eggs. Once fostered and tamed, they’ll be your faithful companion in all situations and, of course, can be used for a ride!

There is a config file in the config directory in your minecraft folder. You can set the height limit of the parachute. You really can’t do much above 256 meters anyway. So the default altitude is 225 meters. That should be high enough to get you over anything. You can change this to suit your needs including disabling it altogether by using a limit of zero. You can set your parachute color as well. The parachute color has a ‘random’ setting causing the chute to change color with every opening. There is also an option to disable the ‘thermals’. Another option ‘autoDeploy’ when ‘true’ will automatically deploy the parachute when you fall. A ‘fallDistance’ option allows you to set how far you fall before the parachute auto deploys. All this is explained in the config file.

LotsOMobs adds more than 25 new mobs to Minecraft including birds, fish, lions, mammoths, snakes and even dinosaurs. As well as making the Minecraft world much more interesting to explore, many of the mobs have unique drops, for example deer fur can be used to create armour. Camels, mammoths and pterosauruses can all be ridden in the same way as horses in vanilla Minecraft.
