Oceancraft is a mod that almost completely overhauls the ocean in Minecraft. It makes them much more realistic and adds in 10 new mobs, new blocks, and new items!

Mr_Crayfish’s Furniture Mod adds more than 30 pieces of furniture to Minecraft that can be used to decorate your home and garden.

LotsOMobs adds more than 25 new mobs to Minecraft including birds, fish, lions, mammoths, snakes and even dinosaurs. As well as making the Minecraft world much more interesting to explore, many of the mobs have unique drops, for example deer fur can be used to create armour. Camels, mammoths and pterosauruses can all be ridden in the same way as horses in vanilla Minecraft.

Antique Atlas is a new way to view your map with a really neat, old school gaming, aesthetic. It very much resembles the Zelda style mapping and comes in an infinitely scrollable book. You can even zoom and create markers.

The Saltymod adds salt to Minecraft. Its uses are largely aesthetic but there are some key features that make it worthwhile outside of adding new blocks. It can be found in ore form, grown via salt crystals, or salvaged from an evaporator.

Zyin’s HUD is a fantastic addition to your screen display. It gives you a multitude of options to configure. From simple coordinate displays to elaborate mob info, this mod will seriously improve your Minecraft experience.

BaM’s Grave is a simple mod that aims to ease the headache of losing items when you die. It’s inevitable if you play the game with mobs active that you may end up six feet under at some point. This is incredibly frustrating at times especially if you have a massive amount of stuff in your inventory. Enter BaM’s Grave:

The Geoactivity mod adds the ability to customize tools and armor in Minecraft. It adds 3 new types of coal that are necessary to create reinforced tools as well as some brand new tools. The new coals are Anthracite, Bituminous, and Lignite.

Craft++ is a Minecraft Enhancement mod that aims to be more like an expansion of the vanilla world. It doesn’t feel quite like a mod and all the additions are natural and feel normal in the game. You’ll get new enchantments, items, and abilities that you’ll wish you had before.

This mod does exactly what its name suggests; it adds armor and tools made from obsidian and emerald. Emerald armor and tools provide a mid-point between iron and diamond and Obsidian tools go just beyond the durability of diamond. And as an added bonus Obsidian armor provides you with fire resistance as well.
