The Quintessential Creatures mod adds a few new exotic mobs to the game. Many can be found in large bodies of water but others can be seen wandering various biomes. Possibly the most adorable of the new creatures is the Octopus. You’re already accustomed to Minecraft’s squid but now you’ll encounter a similar creature only with eight tentacles. They’re pretty harmless but will spray ink when attacked.

There are two wands capable of laying down a row of blocks: The Destructive Linear Conjuration wand and the Non-Desctructive Linear Conjuration wand. One will replace the blocks lying within the frames and the other will stop placing once the frame hits an already placed block. You can shift + scroll to change the number of blocks you want to place up to 64. You’ll also need to put the block you want to place right next to the wand in your inventory row before placing.

The Instant Massive Structures mod is exactly as it sounds. You can craft a structure-placing block, put it on the ground, and a massive structure will instantly be generated in front of your eyes. All you need to do is craft the shape of your structure with related minecraft items.

The WoodStuff mod gives you a bit more customization when it comes to crafting wooden items. It gives you the ability to craft most wood items out of different types of wood found in the game. Normally that would create the same color item no matter what wood you used but now, with this mod, the item will retain the qualities of whatever wood you crafted it with.

The Craftable Waypoints mod is an excellent resource for quick and easy waypoints that won’t break the bank in materials. It offers another use for string if you happen to have an excess of it and is super easy to use. All you have to do is craft one and right click it wherever you want to mark a spot.
